I have mixed feelings about the “youtube-ification” of American politics. On one hand you get hilarious stuff like this:
“B**** got eyes like the GEICO lizard…”
On the other hand you get stuff that is hilarious for all of the wrong reasons:
Fan club? I rest my case.
By the way, am I the only one who is slightly disturbed by these Obama ‘hope’ posters?
The above is the work of the fairly well known contemporary artist and graphic designer Shepard Fairey, known for his fascination with political propaganda art (a lot of his work is quite interesting actually, check it out).
I just have a hard time figuring out how the Obama campaign would consider it a good idea to put at every bus stop in the city of Philadelphia posters that look so much like this:
What do you think?

I’m confused why the second video is labeled “hilarious for the wrong reasons” Personally I though the video was great. As a matter of fact, due to that video I will be voting for Obama…I mean come now Nader only pushes “single payer” health care and other concrete changes…Obama pushes for “CHANGE” because he doesn’t like to pigeonhole himself with real issues…just keep it abstract and ambiguous baby, give it room to breathe…can’t beat “HOPE” Nader…VOTE OBAMA 2008!!!!!!
